How do opioid analgesics cause coma to patients with liver disease? - liver disease more condition_treatment

I know that opioid analgesics are metabolised in the liver, so it is not true in people with liver disease, metabolism. But how is it a coma? HELP!

You have right in saying that a person with liver disease, is determined to break the effectiveness of drugs.
The thing to understand is that the opioid analgesics are depressants. That's means your brain, heart, lungs start slowing down ... the drugs reach a level of toxicity in the body that they must cease their activities. Your brain will be closed first, and coma. His heart and lungs are working during this time, but his heart rate dropped considerably and his breathing becomes shallower and less.
This makes it extremely dangerous opiate.
